GA Lottery Pre-K Assistant Teacher

About This Role

The Success Learning Academy in College Park, GA is seeking a qualified GA Lottery Pre-K Assistant Teacher to work with Preschool (3–5) in a center-based environment. This position requires an active Child Development Associate (CDA) credential.

What You'll Do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with daily classroom activities, lesson plans, and hands-on learning experiences.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe classroom environment.
• Support children’s social-emotional development and encourage positive interactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom space.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, outdoor play, and meal times.
• Collaborate with the teaching team to monitor student progress and behavior.
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and team members.
• Follow all program guidelines and licensing requirements as outlined by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL).

Requirements

• A High School Diploma or GED required.
• A minimum Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or higher required.
• A minimum of one (1) year experience working in an early childhood or educational setting.
• Knowledge of Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be able to pass a background check and meet all DECAL requirements.
