Advanced Manufacturing Opportunity
A transformative 18-month program designed for individuals with or without prior manufacturing experience. Participants have the opportunity to attend a fully paid, company-sponsored school through G.S. Precision Inc. while building a career in advanced manufacturing.
G.S. Precision Inc. and Vermont Technical College
This is a unique opportunity to work full time while completing structured training and earning college credit toward a degree. Participants will earn 10 college credits toward Vermont State University’s Engineering Technology degree program, fully funded by GSP.
Program Details
- Combines hands-on machining instruction with formal classroom education.
- Engages in a registered apprenticeship, rotating through multiple operational areas to develop a comprehensive understanding of manufacturing processes and the full range of capabilities at G.S. Precision.
- Designed to develop individuals into advanced machinists, and depending on your aptitude, setup machinists capable of working at a high level within aerospace manufacturing.
Work Schedule
Participants will work full time (32 hours per week with the ability to work 40 hours and OT) at GSP while attending evening classes.

Qualifications
Candidates will be required to take mechanical and math aptitude exams administered by Vermont State University and complete a formal interview process.
