FY27: Teacher, Elementary Team Leader - Grade 3, College Gardens ES, 1.0 FTE

Summary Description

Working collaboratively with local school administrators, to assure student success, the elementary team leader manages and facilitates team activities, and serves as a liaison to other teams and service providers such as speech therapists, ESOL teachers, and special education resource personnel.

• MCEA 10 month: The wage range for this position is a salary between $66,690 and $135,745 based on education and experience.

Certificate License

Maryland State Department of Education certification requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Extensive knowledge of elementary school curriculum, and human development considerations including the characteristics and needs of elementary school students.
• Demonstrated organizational and leadership skills.
• Working knowledge of data analysis principles, and of technologies used in instruction and program management.
• Ability to work effectively with principals, teachers, parents, and students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education, Training, and Experience

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, with evidence of continuing professional development.
• Minimum of three years outstanding teaching experience.
• Experience in team planning, cooperative learning, team teaching, and in a relevant leadership role desirable.
