About the Role

The Student Equipment Room Assistant supports the Athletic Equipment Department by assisting with laundry operations, equipment and uniform distribution, inventory organization, and maintaining a clean and organized equipment room. The position also assists with preparing equipment and apparel for practices and competitions and supports daily equipment room operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily operations of the Athletic Equipment Department
• Support laundry services and equipment/uniform distribution
• Manage inventory and organize equipment room
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the equipment room
• Prepare equipment and apparel for practices and competitions
• Support game day responsibilities as assigned

Requirements

• Must be an LIU student enrolled in an active degree program

Evaluation

Performance will be evaluated by the equipment manager based on attendance, punctuality, reliability, professionalism, initiative, teamwork, and successful completion of assigned game day responsibilities.

Schedule

Flexible schedule based on athletic event needs, with a maximum of 17 hours per week.
