About the role
Photography lab monitors assist faculty, staff, and students with equipment and day-to-day operations of the photography area.
Responsibilities
- Check out equipment to students
- Maintain detailed records
- Help maintain inkjet printers
- Mix darkroom chemistry
- Set up and break down the analog lab
- Assist with setup or breakdown of the lighting studio
- Ensure general security of the lab space
Requirements
- Must be a ULV student
- Willingness to learn and be committed
- Able to work at least 2-hour shifts
- Respectful, polite, and offer assistance
Preferred Qualifications
- Photography major or minor
- Outgoing with good communication skills
- Able to handle stressful situations if they arise
- Organized and willing to assist faculty and students
Schedule
Monday through Friday – multiple shift schedules between 8:00 am and 7:00 pm
