About the role

As a key member of our autonomy and robotics team, you will be responsible for developing advanced algorithms and systems that enable autonomous vehicles to operate safely and efficiently in various environments. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate these systems into real-world applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement machine learning models for autonomous vehicle navigation
• Collaborate with software engineers to develop and test autonomous vehicle systems
• Contribute to the development of safety protocols and testing procedures
• Stay updated on the latest research and technologies in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• Experience with Python, C++, and ROS (Robot Operating System)
• Strong understanding of computer vision, sensor fusion, and control theory
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Passion for robotics and a desire to push the boundaries of autonomous technology

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field preferred
• Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Automotive Engineer (CAE) or equivalent

Skills

• Proficiency in MATLAB and Simulink
• Experience with lidar, radar, and camera sensors
• Knowledge of ethical considerations in AI and autonomous systems
