About the role

Monument View Veterinary Hospital in Grand Junction, Colorado, is a small animal practice that provides comprehensive veterinary care with a focus on compassionate care for pets and their families. The hospital offers a broad range of services, including preventative care, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and emergency and urgent care. Their team emphasizes client education and collaborative treatment plans, ensuring that pet owners feel informed and confident about their pet's health and wellbeing. This well-established practice is composed of a collaborative DVM team and a highly trained support staff. This is a full-time role with scheduling flexibility. We’re open to veterinarians of all experience levels, including recent graduates. Must be licensed (or able to become licensed) in Colorado for consideration.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive veterinary care for pets, including preventative care, diagnostics, surgical procedures, and emergency and urgent care.
  • Educate clients on pet health and wellness through consultations and written materials.
  • Collaborate with the DVM team to develop and implement treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
  • Operate within the hospital’s modern technology and facilities, which have been recently expanded and remodeled.
  • Ensure compliance with all veterinary regulations and standards.

Requirements

  • DVM/VMD from an accredited program
  • Licensed veterinarian (or eligible) in Colorado
  • 3+ years of hands-on clinical experience preferred
  • Strong surgical, diagnostic, and communication skills
  • Passion for high-quality patient care and client service

Pay

The salary range for this opportunity is $100,000 - $150,000 annually. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Schedule

Office Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 6:00pm
Saturdays: 8:00am - 5:00pm
Sundays: 9:00am - 5:00pm
