About the role
The position is for a future American Sign Language (ASL) teacher at Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering ASL instruction to students in grades K-12. -
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum for ASL classes.
- Provide individualized instruction to students.
- Assess student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.
- Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.

Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
- Experience working with deaf or hard-of-hearing students.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Knowledge of ASL and proficiency in using sign language in the classroom.
