As an Account Executive, you won't just be pushing products - you'll be designing the future of enterprise tech for your clients, solving critical C-level dilemmas and delivering high-value solutions that enhance customer success and drive market share.

  • Accelerating Apps and Infra Modernization: Help organizations solve the financial crisis caused by extreme cost increases from virtualization license changes. Offer a unified platform that acts as a bridge to the cloud-native future enabling the customer to manage both VMs and containers side-by-side.
  • Securing, Managing, and Scaling Modern Workloads: Help organizations that struggle to effectively operate modern, distributed workloads across diverse environments. Position the SUSE promise: unifying management of all distributed workloads on a single, open platform. This drastically cuts operational overhead and accelerates time-to-market for new, innovative services.
  • Simplifying and Optimizing Core Operations: Address the fundamental challenge faced by IT leaders: the need to both "keep the lights on" for existing systems and drive new, strategic innovation. Offer a resilient, compliant, and secure open-source platform. This platform provides unified management across any Linux environment, including SUSE, Red Hat, and Ubuntu.

What You’ll Succeed At

  • Drive Strategic Growth: Manage a targeted portfolio of key accounts, prioritizing those with the highest potential for SUSE adoption.
  • Build Executive Relationships: Forge deep connections across the board, from Technical Buyers up to CXO-level Economic and Executive Buyers.
  • Act as a Trusted Advisor: Use consultative selling to understand your clients' mission-critical goals and tailor a precise mix of SUSE solutions to solve their challenges.
  • Own the Lifecycle: Be the primary point of contact from the initial pitch and complex negotiations through to closing and handing over to Customer Success.
  • Collaborate to Win: Co-author Account Plans with Pre-Sales, Inside Sales, and our Partner Ecosystem to bundle and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Spot Opportunities: Proactively identify upselling and cross-selling avenues while monitoring market trends to keep your sales strategies highly competitive.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably in the technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of open source technologies, particularly Linux, Kubernetes, and AI.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for open source and a commitment to innovation.
