Fusion Therapy Center: Travel Speech Language Pathologist (Pediatric Outpatient Clinic)

About the role

We are excited to invite a passionate and patient-centered Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dynamic and collaborative team at Fusion Therapy Center in a hybrid travel position. This unique role allows you to provide speech and language therapy to children in partner daycares, preschools, and schools in the mornings, followed by afternoon sessions in our pediatric outpatient clinic.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate clients to assess their eligibility for speech therapy services
• Develop and adapt individualized treatment plans tailored to the client’s unique needs and goals
• Implement interventions designed to maximize gross motor skills, functional mobility, and independence
• Teach clients new ways of approaching tasks, breaking activities into manageable components
• Recommend and train clients in the use of adaptive equipment as necessary
• Educate family members and caregivers on exercises, techniques, and care strategies
• Document patient progress and treatment plans in accordance with clinic policies and deadlines
• Maintain consistent communication with clients, their families, and other team members

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Speech Therapist (or completion of clinical experience)
• Strong critical thinking skills with a flexible, growth-oriented mindset
• In-depth knowledge of SLP principles and practices
• Familiarity with speech therapy assessments and Medicaid guidelines
• Able to work with diverse patient personalities and care needs
• Continuous drive to learn and stay current with new treatment practices
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Valid SLP license - or anticipated licensure date
• Master's degree or higher in speech-language pathology
• Bi-lingual preferred but not required
