About the role
The Cushion Regulator position at HM Richards, Inc. involves fitting poly foam into cut covers, filling fiber pillows according to quality standards, and ensuring all tasks are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Use hands to fit poly foam into cut covers, ensuring complete fill
- Fill fiber into pillows to fit quality standards
- Examine each piece to ensure poly foam is properly filled into covers
- Communicate with supervisors or leads on quality issues
- Work closely with other employees on the production line
- Complete daily tasks to meet production goals
- Follow safety guidelines and keep work areas clean and organized
- Perform other duties as directed by supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in upholstery or similar manufacturing environment preferred
- Ability to read and follow detailed instructions
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods
