Furnace Operator 2nd shift 12 Hour

About the role

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Furnace Operator is responsible for all furnace checks, gas checks, and logged recordings; loading of furnaces and unloading per recipe and alarm; and providing additional support to part setting as necessary.

Schedule

12-hour shift, 5 pm to 5 am, rotating weekends. Two days on, two days off, three days on, three days off, repeating.

Responsibilities

• Perform furnace checks, gas checks, and log recordings
• Load and unload furnaces according to recipe and alarm
• Provide support to part setting as needed
• Adhere to safety guidelines

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to lift 30 to 50 lbs intermittently
• Ability to stand for 12 hours and work every other weekend
• Stable work history
• Must pass a comprehensive background check including criminal and a 9-panel drug test

Pay

Minimum starting pay is from $22.00+/hr for candidates with no production experience, higher for those with production experience. Includes a $1.25/hr shift premium.
