Responsibilities

• Handle approximately 250 calls annually
• Work closely with a team in a shared-space environment
• Serve families with pride and professionalism
• Be involved in all areas of the funeral home, from arrangements to services
• Communicate effectively and build strong relationships with families
• Prepare bodies for viewing and burial
• Manage daily operations and assist with administrative tasks

Requirements

• Licensed Funeral Director / Embalmer
• Well-rounded funeral service background
• Comfortable with various aspects of funeral service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professional appearance and community presence
• Willingness to learn and adapt to a new environment

Qualifications

• Experience in funeral service industry preferred
• Team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to help wherever needed
• Comfortable working in a smaller community setting
• Technology skills are a plus
