Funds Associate

About the role

Husch Blackwell LLP is seeking a Funds Associate with three to five years of experience, preferably in private equity, private credit, and venture capital funds. This position is open to candidates in all of our offices except New Jersey, New York, and California.

Responsibilities

• Advising investment funds at all stages of their lifecycle
• Working with attorneys in the Financial Services & Capital Markets strategic business unit
• Handling multiple projects and demonstrating exceptional judgment
• Communicating legal strategies and courses of action effectively

Requirements

• General corporate and securities background
• Excellent academic credentials
• Active bar license in the state corresponding with the office to which they are applying or commitment to obtain one as soon as possible

Pay

Pursuant to applicable state laws, the compensation range for this position in Vermont and Washington, D.C. is $240,000 - $285,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range in Colorado and Massachusetts is $230,000 - $285,000. The range in Maryland and Washington is $230,000 - $275,000. The range in Illinois is $215,000 - $285,000. The range in Minnesota is $215,000 - $260,000. Salaries in all other markets will vary depending on market data.
