Position Overview

As the Fundraising Specialist, you'll play a key role in expanding Forward Service Corporation's philanthropic impact by developing relationships with donors, corporate partners, foundations, and community stakeholders. You'll lead fundraising initiatives that generate critical support for our mission while helping cultivate long-term partnerships that change lives throughout Wisconsin.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies that increase philanthropic support and diversify funding sources.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with individual donors, corporate sponsors, foundations, and community partners through cultivation, stewardship, and engagement.
  • Cook up fundraising campaigns, sponsorship opportunities, donor events, and community outreach efforts that advance the organization's mission.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, Communications, Marketing, Public Administration, Philanthropy, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Three or more years of experience in fundraising, donor relations, business development, sponsorship development, nonprofit advancement, community relations, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to build meaningful relationships and confidently engage donors, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Experience with donor management software or CRM systems preferred.
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel throughout Wisconsin for donor meetings, community events, and organizational representation.
