"Fundraising Committee"

Responsibilities

• Develops an "action plan" related to fundraising.
• Maintains a list of Supporters within the Central TX area.
• Submits documents required for participation at events to the National office for review.
• Recruits volunteers for specific events.
• Attends and participates in monthly meetings with the Capital Project Director.
• Prepares and submits quarterly Activity Reports to the National office.
• Prepares and submits monthly "Volunteer Service Hours" reports to the National office.

Requirements

• A passion to help military service members, veterans, and their pets.
• Professional, organized, reliable, and able to work with diverse groups.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous public speaking experience helpful.
• Own computer (desktop or laptop).
• Comfortable using MS office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher) or Open Office, and internet communication tools.
• Able to commit to at least 1 year with an average of 25-30 hours per month.
