FUNDING IS AVAILABLE TO SUPPORT EMPLOYEE TRAINING
AgConnect can help offset the cost of training for eligible forest/wood products and ag-related employers/trainees with a reimbursement of up to 50% of the course cost. Funding is provided through grants by the PA Department of Labor and Industry, the PA Department of Community and Economic Development, and the Chester County Workforce Development Board, and is available to ag employers across the Commonwealth. Incumbent Worker Training (IWT) Reimbursement
Available to companies in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties. Reimbursement ranges from 50% to 90% based on company size. Allowable costs include:
- Training materials and supplies (manuals, etc.)
- Training tuition and registration fees
- Instructor/trainer wages
- Materials and certifications/testing
- Off-site training costs
Layoff aversion training is preferred. Wage increase and/or promotion is required. More information and application.

Industry Partnership Internship Program
Available to employers in manufacturing, building and construction, and healthcare/social assistance industries in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties. Eligible employers can receive up to 50% reimbursement of student wages, up to a maximum of $3,000. More information and eligibility requirements.

Available to employers in manufacturing industries in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, Jefferson, McKean, and Potter counties.
