About the role
We are seeking a Fund Controller to oversee closed-end funds investing across technology, blockchain, Web3, and digital assets.
Responsibilities
- Lead fund accounting, financial reporting, and client relationships.
- Oversee capital calls, distributions, allocations, carried interest, waterfalls, and IRRs.
- Account for equity investments, tokens, SAFTs, warrants, and SPVs.
- Coordinate with auditors, tax advisers, legal counsel, and digital asset custodians.
- Support new fund launches and provide technical oversight to the fund accounting team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of closed-end fund accounting or administration experience.
- Venture Capital experience is required, with crypto or digital asset exposure strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of LPAs, fund allocations, carried interest, and waterfalls.
- Experience with digital asset transactions, wallets, exchanges, or custodians is advantageous.
- Strong client management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
