Purpose And Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
- Support the Fund Management team in managing a portfolio of Affordable Housing Real Estate Funds to preserve the value of investor equity and the stream of benefits associated with the investment
- Work with the Fund Managers to prepare and maintain long-term projections of capital installments, tax credit and tax loss delivery, cash distributions, and update corresponding investor benefit schedules
- Aid in preparation and maintenance of fund risk reports and business plans
- Aid Senior Management with time-sensitive projects such as investor presentation materials, compilation of due diligence items and hand-off materials related to fund investment closings, and ad hoc requests
- Aid Fund Management with annual tax return process, which includes reviewing and analyzing Federal and State partnership tax returns and internal tax reports
- Maintain oversight of the performance of property investments and address discrepancies in conjunction with the preparation of quarterly reports to corporate investors
- Contribute to various Fund Management initiatives, as well as team-based, long-term initiatives
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Proficient with MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook
- Proficient in financial analysis and spreadsheet modeling in MS Excel
- Able to balance multiple projects while using critical thinking and creative problem-solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with peers, senior management and investors
- Highly attentive to detail
- Able to thrive in a collaborative, team-based environment; pitching in wherever needed to achieve team objectives
- Able to meet tight deadlines in time-sensitive situations while maintaining a professional demeanor
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Interest in real estate and/or affordable housing
- Familiarity with Partnerships, Financial Statements
Pay
Annual base salary gross: $70,000 - $80,000 (MA only). The base salary range represents the estimated low and high end of ORIX’s salary for this position based on geography. Actual base salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base pay is one component of ORIX’s total compensation package for employees.
