Fund Administration Senior Associate

Responsibilities
- Record accounting entries based on both cash and accrual activity, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Monitor investment activity and performance, including preparing roll-forwards
- Reconcile cash activity and investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and critically assess management fee calculations, allocation schedules, and carried interest models
- Compile financial statements, annual reports, partner notices, and tax schedules
- Coordinate and liaise with internal team members and third parties, including audit and tax partners, serving as a reviewer of their deliverables
- Support the onboarding and training of new team members, providing guidance and oversight to maintain standards of excellence
Requirements
- 3–7 years of experience in private equity, hedge fund, and/or private fund accounting
- Developed understanding of GAAP and foundational knowledge of private fund specific tax concepts
- Knowledge of key concepts such as fee calculations, capital activities, and operational best practices
- Team player with an enthusiastic work ethic
- Ability to learn all taught concepts quickly, comprehensively, and enthusiastically
- Exceptional organizational and written communication skills
- Exacting attention to detail
- Exemplary prioritization and multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with fund administration software a plus but not a requirement

Pay
- Base salary: $90,000 to $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience and success
- Quarterly bonus: 1/3rd of profits shared with the team each quarter with unlimited potential growth
Schedule
Primarily a remote work company; some training may be delivered in-person at client sites or local coworking locations. Clients may occasionally request on-site support. Expectations regarding in-person training or support time will be outlined during the interview process.
