About the Role
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join a nationally recognized functional medicine practice, where you will work alongside highly respected clinicians in the fields of Functional and root-cause medicine with a focus on longevity/healthspan, autoimmune conditions, hormones, and complex chronic illness (mold-related illness, viral, tick-borne disease, etc.).

What You’ll Do
- Deliver excellent, high-quality, patient-centered functional medicine care through comprehensive assessments, diagnosis, treatment planning, and follow-up care.
- Develop personalized, layered treatment plans that uncover and address the root causes of illness, using a wide variety of modalities to restore balance, support resilience, and prime the body for long-term healthspan and vitality
- Monitor patient progress, adjust care plans as needed, and educate patients in functional medicine principles.
- Support the development and refinement of clinical protocols, best practices, and guidelines aligned with the latest evidence-based research, with a strong ability to leverage technology such as AI research tools, AI scribe services, and other digital solutions to enhance efficiency and patient care.
- Participate in clinician team calls, case discussions, and collaborative problem-solving while also serving as a mentor for practitioners in our affiliated fellowship program.
- Contribute to patient education by helping develop handouts, workshops, programs, or other resources that empower patients to actively participate in their care.
What We’re Looking For

- Can work remotely in a fast-paced environment with a distributed team and is able to handle complexity and solve problems proactively and independently.
- Has experience working in a medical practice (functional and/or integrative medicine preferred).
Licenses and Certifications
- Licensed NP or PA (California license required; multi-state licensure or willingness to expand licensure highly valued). Exceptional MD/DO candidates will also be considered.
- Background in functional and integrative medicine (IFM and/or ADAPT certification strongly preferred but not required).
Experience and Skills
- Clinical experience with, or willingness to develop expertise in, addressing complex chronic health concerns through a functional medicine approach, including hormone optimization, immune system support, mold-related illness, tick-borne disease, and advanced longevity interventions such as peptide therapy and other emerging tools to promote healthspan and vitality.
- Familiarity with functional medicine diagnostic testing (blood, saliva, stool, urine, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving ability and interest in caring for patients with multi-layered health challenges.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and patient engagement skills.
- Amazing emotional intelligence, a can-do attitude, and a hospitality industry mentality.
- Driven, self-directed, and has a strong ability to work remotely with a distributed team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong time management and self-scheduling skills, with the discipline to stay organized, meet deadlines, and manage a full patient caseload in a virtual setting without in-person oversight.
- Expertise with technology and virtual care tools, including Zoom for telemedicine visits, AI-driven platforms, Google Suite and Drive, and excellent computer skills to support efficient workflows and patient care.
Additional Details
- Work Location: 100% remote. Having a dedicated, quiet office space is required, along with reliable internet, appropriate computer equipment, and necessary office supplies to support effective patient care and team communication.
- Schedule: Part-time, approximately 10-25 hours/week, with the potential to expand into a full-time role.
- Compensation: Commensurate with experience; Benefits include 401K, paid sick leave, and potential discounts for non-clinical health-related services. Additional benefits, including health care once full-time.
