We have an exciting opportunity for an individual to assist the Project Team in implementing Microsoft 365 Business Central Accounting Software across 70+ Aviagen companies, replacing the current Great Plains Accounting Software. This role specifically involves supporting local Project Coordinators, including detailed system setup and testing. Job Description Sound interesting? Here’s more detail about the role: Responsibilities Based within either Edinburgh, UK or Huntsville, Alabama with some international travel you will be the key team member within the Project Team responsible for the implementation of the Microsoft 365 Business Central (BC) software: Working with the Project Team and all finance teams to ensure smooth and effective transition to Business CentralGathering requirements for system set-up, including local government reportingDefining processes within BC to meet local requirements as set out by the local project co-coordinatorResponsible for set-up and changes to the front-end system in BC to meet group and local requirementsResponsible for “translating” business requirements to the tech teams and finding solutionsWorking with the local teams to ensure system is adequately set up, tested, and rolled outEnsuring effective communication between local finance teams and the project teamFocused on delivering a quality product to the end users of the finance system Qualifications Experience using Microsoft Business Central or similar system8+ years’ experience in accounting and financeExperience working within a fast-paced environmentExperience working with multidisciplinary teams to achieve objectivesExperience training others in a finance environment About You You will demonstrate excellent communication, change management, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to interact with users from different countries and cultures. You will also bring a positive can-do attitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
