About the role
Spurwink is looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to empower youth and families by creating strength-based behavior change using the Functional Family Therapy (FFT) model. You will work with families to address challenging or problematic behavior and help youth aged 10–18 make life-transforming changes. The course of FFT treatment is 3–6 months, and extensive research supports its effectiveness. This position includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus paid in four installments of $1,250 at 90 days, six months, nine months, and one year of full-time employment. Additional compensation may be available for exceeding billable and model fidelity expectations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct clinical treatment using the FFT model and principles, such as leveraging strengths, interrupting blame and negativity in family meetings, and reframing as needed.
Qualifications
- LCSW, LMSW-cc, LCPC, LCPC-c, LMFT, or LMFT-c (new graduates encouraged to apply).
- Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule, including late afternoons or evenings.
- Ability to provide counseling in families' homes, office-based settings, and via telehealth (mileage reimbursed).
- Current driver’s license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink’s Driving policy.
