Functional Consultant

About The Role Habytet builds and runs software products for real businesses. Our technical consultant handles the backend and builds; you'll own the front. You'll meet new clients, present and demo our products, and become the person who knows them best. When clients need changes or new capabilities, you'll capture those requirements clearly, hand them to the technical consultant to build, and follow through until the upgrade is delivered. You're the bridge between the client and the code. Key responsibilities Meet new clients and present Habytet's products — demos, walkthroughs and onboarding Develop deep, hands-on knowledge of every product we ship Gather requirements, feedback and change requests from new and existing clients Translate business needs into clear, actionable specs for the technical consultant Coordinate product upgrades and follow through until changes reach the client Maintain long-term client relationships and spot opportunities for new work What we're looking for Excellent communication and presentation skills Confidence in client meetings — you enjoy being the face of a product Ability to understand software products quickly and deeply Skill at turning vague client asks into precise, buildable requirements Organised follow-through — nothing falls through the cracks Nice to have Experience as a functional consultant, business analyst or in pre-salesBackground with SaaS, ERP or business softwareFamiliarity with project tools (Jira, Notion, CRMs)Fluency in multiple languages (English, Tamil, Hindi)
