Fully Remote Personal Injury Attorney

About the role

Our client is a well known personal injury firm with offices across the midwest.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in court or before government agencies, presenting evidence to defend clients or argue for the plaintiff's case in personal injury disputes.
• Conduct legal research and analysis of relevant laws, regulations, legal articles, judicial decisions, and other legal sources to prepare case accordingly.
• Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, motions, briefs, contracts, and other necessary documents.
• Negotiate settlements for legal disputes in the best interest of clients, aiming to resolve cases favorably and quickly.
• Advise clients on their legal rights, discussing the potential for a lawsuit or negotiating a settlement.
• Develop strategies and arguments in preparation for presentation of cases.

Requirements

• Active Nebraska license

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• A current license to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a personal injury attorney.
• Proven experience in trial practice, mediation, legal research, and document drafting.
• Exceptional legal writing skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful dispute resolution.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain a professional relationship with clients and work collaboratively with a team.
