FULLY ON-SITE Accounting Manager

Description

• Lead day-to-day accounting operations, including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, payroll, and month-end close, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Own cash flow management through rolling forecasts, working capital monitoring, and proactive oversight of receivables and collections.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and key performance metrics to support business decisions and improve financial visibility.
• Establish, monitor, and enhance accounting processes, internal controls, and operational KPIs to drive efficiency, accuracy, and accountability across the finance function.
• Partner with sales, operations, and leadership teams to resolve issues, improve workflows, support strategic initiatives, and strengthen overall financial performance.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team while ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and audit obligations.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Progressive accounting experience, including leadership of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, and other transactional accounting functions.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, balance sheet reconciliations, cash flow forecasting, and credit risk management.
• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or similarly operationally focused environment preferred.
• Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop accounting teams while driving accountability and performance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills, with a hands-on approach to managing day-to-day operations.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

Desired Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of experience in accounting leadership roles, with oversight of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Credit/Collections.
• Strong background in cash flow management, including 13-week forecasting and working capital optimisation.
• Experience performing credit reviews, setting credit limits, and managing customer payment terms.
• Hands-on leader with proven ability to mentor teams, enforce internal controls, and drive process improvements.
• Skilled in balance sheet reconciliations, KPI development, and cross-functional collaboration in a fast-paced environment.
