Fullstack Software Engineer

About The Role A fast-growing fintech startup is looking for a highly driven Fullstack Software Engineer to join a small, ambitious team building modern banking infrastructure for global businesses and AI-powered financial operations. You'll have real ownership — taking products from idea to launch and beyond — and work on problems that genuinely matter in a tightly regulated, high-stakes industry. This is a fully remote role open to candidates in US time zones. What You'll Do Build end-to-end full-stack web features — front-end and back-end — from zero to one and into production. Integrate third-party APIs and design robust, reliable state machines. Own projects from ideation through launch and ongoing iteration. Hold yourself and your teammates accountable to high standards of quality and execution. What We're Looking For Must-haves: Proficiency with TypeScript, React, Python (FastAPI), PostgreSQL, and AWS — these are dealbreakers. Strong background building web applications. Experience delivering software in fintech or regulated industries. 2–9 years of professional full-stack software development experience. Solid computer science fundamentals. Nice-to-haves: Side projects — you've built something out of ambition, curiosity, or just because you wanted to. Educational background from a reputable CS or engineering program. Experience at a fintech, crypto, or financial services company (e.g. payments, banking, treasury, cards). Preference for candidates without extensive big-tech backgrounds (outside of Amazon).
