About The Role We are seeking an experienced AI Assisted Fullstack Java Engineer to join our dynamic team in Chicago, IL, operating in a hybrid work environment with two days on-site. This role is ideal for highly self-sufficient professionals who excel in individual contribution while collaborating effectively within Agile teams. The engineer will play a pivotal role in accelerating software development processes by utilizing AI-assisted development tools such as Anthropic Claude and Cursor. The primary focus is on building, refactoring, and hardening enterprise-grade Java and React-based components, ensuring they meet stringent quality, security, and operational standards for production deployment. The candidate must possess a strong background in backend Java development, frontend React skills, and demonstrable experience with AI tools in software engineering. They will guide team efforts in adopting AI-assisted development practices, review AI-generated code, and ensure all deliverables are production-ready, secure, and maintainable.
