Fullstack Engineer - Inperson interview in Reston, VA

About the role

Performs complex analysis, design, development, testing, and debugging of computer software ranging from operating system architecture integration and software design to selection of computer systems, language, and/or equipment. Designs, develops/codes, tests, and documents critical and complex application programs for computer systems. Works with stakeholders to define system scope and objectives, establish baselines, and set project standards and processes. Breaks down software requirements and creates highly complex systems.

In-person interview required in Reston, VA. Duration: 5 months or longer.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications with a focus on backend (70%) and frontend (30%)
• Design and implement Angular front-end components
• Build and maintain Java web services
• Work with MongoDB and Aurora PostgreSQL databases
• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, including EKS

Requirements

• 8-10 years of software development experience
• Experience with basic coding, compilation, software architecture/design
• Experience defining user requirements and developing software specifications
• Full-stack development experience (70% backend, 30% frontend)
• Proficiency with Angular for frontend development
• Proficiency with Java web services
• Experience with MongoDB and Aurora PostgreSQL
• Several years of experience deploying and managing applications on AWS, specifically EKS
