Responsibilities

  • Unload product from freight.
  • Tag, fold, hang, and price merchandise to be put out on the sales floor or in back stock.
  • Restock merchandise on the sales floor and bring products to the floor for display.
  • Assist customers and sales associates with retrieving and loading purchased products.
  • Follow the Line Leader checklist, walk-through notes, and merch guides to prioritize the needs of the shops.
  • Coordinate with Specialty Shop Managers and display teams on shop moves and mannequin placement.
  • Select shoes from backstock and place them in the staging area for sales associates.
  • Return any unpurchased shoes to the correct areas in backstock.
  • Assist Customer Service with shoe return processing and return items to the sales floor.
  • Keep the product organized to eliminate clutter and maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Initiate warm and welcoming interactions with customers, establishing rapport and offering assistance.
  • Maintain a smooth flow of service to minimize wait times for customers.
  • Stay organized, multitask, and maintain all aspects of the Shoe Runner role.
  • Maintain an orderly appearance with general cleaning and organization around the store and back stock areas.
  • Work independently and with the team, exercising judgment and tact.
  • Demonstrate attention to detail.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the leadership team and Merchandising Lead.
  • Work assigned schedule; may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • 1-3 months of related experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Very heavy work: Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Follow all safety procedures to minimize the risk of injury.

Pay

Compensation for this position starts at $17 per hour.
