Full-Time Warehouse Positions - Weekend Shift

About the role

DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking Warehouse employees to join our distribution center team in Plainfield, IN. We are hiring Full Time opportunities with the following shifts and positions:

• Weekend Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:30am - 7:15pm (earn $1.25/hr more)
• Material Handler: $19.25/hr + $1.25/hr
• Processing Associate: $18.00/hr + $1.25/hr

Responsibilities

• Performs unloading, loading, staging, and warehousing of cartons, practicing safe and secure procedures and following proper material handling methods for maximum productivity.
• Safely operates manual and mechanical equipment according to procedures.
• Completes all documentation neatly and accurately and reports any errors found to Department Supervisor.
• Verifies purchase order, location numbers, case pack quantities, and other information prior to receiving, picking, or loading merchandise.
• Determines where pallets are to be placed in locations based on box size and product.
• Practices safe and secure material handling methods and distributes merchandise properly in accordance with processing standards.
• Performs spot checks of the system to ensure merchandise is sorted properly.

Requirements

• Must achieve equipment operator certification on the job and operate as necessary for the position.
• Must be willing to be trained and operate radio frequency (RF) scanning equipment as necessary for the position.
• Must pass a background check and drug screen.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift cartons/bins weighing approximately 10-50 pounds repetitively.
• Ability to keep pace with production standards.
• Basic English reading comprehension and numerical reasoning skills.
• Manual dexterity.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Pay

• Material Handler: $19.25/hr + $1.25/hr shift differential for weekend shifts.
• Processing Associate: $18.00/hr + $1.25/hr shift differential for weekend shifts.
