Full Time Van Delivery Driver

About the role

Gordon Food Service Store LLC is seeking a Van Delivery Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or a related field. They must also have an unrestricted Standard Operator’s License, a clean driving record, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Deliver accurately located and picked orders to Wholesale customers
• Build and maintain good customer relationships
• Accurately deliver GFS products with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
• Perform daily pre/post trip inspections of the vehicle and equipment
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer purchases through the point of sale
• Secure assets including cash, checks, and merchandise according to policies and procedures
• Maintain proper rotation and product quality, execute end caps and planograms, ensure top stock, organize freezers, coolers, and backrooms
• Assist with store operations before or after completing the delivery route

Requirements

• At least 1 year previous delivery driving experience and one year in customer service or related field preferred
• Unrestricted Standard Operators License required
• Clean driving record (no drug or alcohol offenses in the last 5 years)
• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Able to lift up to 70 lbs and use a two-wheel cart with a load up to 350 lbs

Pay

$16/hr

Schedule

Store Hours: Monday through Saturday 7AM-8PM; Sunday 9AM-6PM
Holidays Off: Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day, and Easter
