Full-Time Valet Parker (Seasonal)

About the role

The Valet Parker role is responsible for greeting guests, parking and retrieving guest vehicles, driving shuttles, and delivering suitcases. Valets directly support the Front Desk to create memorable guest experiences at The Lodge at St. Edward Park.

Responsibilities

• Parks and retrieves guest cars safely and in accordance with hotel standards.
• Delivers suitcases, packages, and documents as requested.
• Keeps record of calls for service.
• Greets guests at the front door or car upon arrival.
• Escorts incoming and outgoing hotel guests to and from rooms, assists with luggage, and provides information about hotel services, local points of interest, and attractions.
• Assists in de-icing pavement, sidewalks, and other areas as needed.
• Removes ice from guests’ windshields and provides umbrellas when necessary.
• Maintains a polished and professional appearance in pressed uniform.
• Ensures safety and security of guests and team members in all weather conditions within valet parking areas.
• Drives shuttles as needed.

Requirements

• Strong driving record.
• Must be 21 or older.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission, parallel park, and demonstrate other technical driving skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license; annual Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.
