Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Travel to assigned grocery retail locations according to a predetermined 13-week schedule
- Must be open out of state travel
- Install merchandising hardware, including clip strips and related display components
- Execute initial product placement according to planograms and company standards
- Ensure all displays are properly secured, visually appealing, and compliant with store requirements
- Maintain accurate records of completed installations, including photos and reporting as required
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and store personnel
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor installation or merchandising issues in the field
- Understand and demonstrate safe work practices at all times to ensure a safe work environment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
- Complete special projects and other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow visual merchandising instructions
- Basic mechanical aptitude for installing fixtures and hardware
- Able to work independently and within a team
- Able to manage time efficiently across multiple locations and a commitment to meeting tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Able to utilize manual and power tools
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment
- Able to lift and move merchandise and equipment (typically up to 25–40 lbs)
- Familiarity with mobile reporting tools or willingness to learn
- Able to read and follow planograms and assemble store fixtures and displays
Experience and Credentials
- High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience required
- Must be 18 or older
- 1 to 2 years previous merchandising, grocery, or retail sales experience preferred
- Able to move, lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds constantly and be on feet for 3 to 8 hours consecutively
- Must have and use reliable transportation
- Must possess and produce a valid state driver’s license with proof of current automobile insurance coverage, unless utilizing other means of transportation
- Must have access to and be able to use a smartphone capable of running and using the required applicable company-related software programs and business tasks like ordering, GPS tracking, and time recording.
- Must be computer literate and able to operate a smartphone or tablet utilizing different applications and the internet for company business, like ordering GPS tracking, and time recording
- Ability to read, speak, and understand English is required
