Full-Time Teller: Wauwatosa Branch

About the Role

UW Credit Union is hiring a Full-Time Teller to join our member-focused, hardworking team at our Wauwatosa branch. This role is ideal if you enjoy creating meaningful connections and delivering top-notch customer service. As a Full-Time Teller, you’ll accurately handle transactions while identifying opportunities to recommend UW Credit Union products and services that align with our members’ financial goals. Through these interactions, you’ll build strong, trustworthy relationships with members.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist members at our Wauwatosa branch, representing UW Credit Union.
• Meet performance goals in line with our Members for Life Sales & Service Philosophy.
• Maintain a strong understanding of all UW Credit Union products and services.
• Ensure accurate and efficient handling of member requests at the Teller line.
• Follow UW Credit Union's Cash Management policies and procedures.
• Investigate potential errors in Teller transactions and communicate with affected members.
• Build relationships with members, understand their needs, offer recommendations, and make referrals when appropriate.
• Look for ways to exceed our members' expectations.
• Collaborate with your branch team to address member and branch needs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of customer service experience.
• Confidence with cash handling and transactions.
• Ability to work with customers of all ages and backgrounds.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional skills.
• Team player who can confidently jump in where and when needed.
• Ability to work in an autonomous environment.
