About the role
The Full-Time Teller role is an on-site position located in San Angelo, TX.
Responsibilities
- Accurately process a variety of customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, check cashing, and account inquiries.
- Balance a cash drawer daily.
- Verify identification.
- Follow bank policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with security and regulatory standards.
- Provide courteous, professional service, answer customer questions, and refer customers to other bank services when appropriate.
- Assist with ATM deposits.
- Handle night drop transactions.
- Support branch operations as needed.
Qualifications
- Cash handling and basic math skills, with the ability to balance transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with a diverse range of customers.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills to follow procedures and comply with banking regulations.
- Comfort with computers and point-of-sale or teller systems; ability to learn new banking software.
- Ability to work on-site full-time in San Angelo, TX, including consistent punctuality and reliability.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience in banking, retail, or cash-handling environments is beneficial.
- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and commitment to protecting customer information and financial assets.
- Willingness to learn bank products and services to make appropriate referrals and support branch goals.
