Full-Time Telehealth General Neurologist

As the leading virtual neurology clinic, we provide an all-in-one platform integrating advanced technology with specialized expertise to manage neurological diseases. Our mission is to transform the neurology landscape by offering immediate access to care for 145 million Americans, significantly reducing wait times from 276 days to 5 days. We achieve this through strategic partnerships and a direct-to-patient model, leveraging AI for workflow optimization and continuous monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and examine patients with neurological complaints, providing diagnoses and personalized care plans.
- Review relevant labs and imaging to support patient care.
- Follow up with patients regularly to adjust medications and monitor progress.
- Offer chat-based support to patients navigating challenging health journeys.
- Create educational content for our online platforms and content library.
Qualifications
- Board certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) in Neurology, or board eligibility.
- Strong clinical skills, including active listening, sound medical judgment, technical proficiency, and effective decision-making.
- Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative, team-oriented approach to care.

Licensure Requirements
Willingness to obtain and maintain medical licenses in California, New York, and additional states through the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC), as requested. Neura will cover the cost of obtaining these licenses and provide a one-time payment equivalent to four (4) hours of compensation for completing additional state licensure paperwork. The payment will be forfeited if the paperwork is not completed within one (1) week of the initial request.
Success Metrics
- Patient Experience & Clinical Quality: High patient satisfaction ratings and consistent delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care.
- Provider Availability: Meeting or exceeding established availability targets and scheduling expectations.
- Clinical Documentation: Timely, accurate, and comprehensive clinical documentation meeting organizational standards.
- Care Coordination: Completion of required handoff forms at or near 100% to ensure seamless continuity of care.

Compensation Range
$325,000 - $375,000

About the Founders
Liz Burstein is the CEO and previously held roles at Maven Clinic, Zocdoc, and LinkedIn. She brings fifteen years of tech industry experience, particularly in health tech. Sameer Madan is the CTO, formerly an engineer at Facebook for nine years, where he led the technical development of Live Video and several notable products like Facebook Mentions and threaded-ranked comments.
