About the role
This fully remote role focuses primarily on pregnancy and prenatal nutrition, including gestational diabetes (GDM), while also supporting women with hormonal imbalance, PCOS, fertility, perimenopause, gut health, and metabolic health. Unlike many outpatient roles, this position offers a full-time, salaried structure with benefits, providing stability and consistency in your schedule and income—while giving you the flexibility to choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle.
Responsibilities
- Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach, with a primary focus on pregnancy and gestational diabetes (GDM)
- Audit nutritional health of patients/clients with attention to prenatal needs, blood sugar regulation, and hormone-related conditions
- Monitor and review daily blood glucose logs for GDM patients, providing timely feedback, adjustments, and ongoing support
- Develop and modify individualized nutrition care plans, with a focus on glycemic control during pregnancy
- Coordinate care and communicate effectively with referring physicians and healthcare providers to ensure continuity of care
- Implement Simplex Health protocols and materials in patient care
- Document all new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform with strong attention to detail
- Respond to all patient communications in a timely and supportive manner
- Communicate openly and effectively to resolve work-related issues or conflicts
- Proactively contribute to team collaboration and support team decisions and outcomes
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
- Stay current and forward-thinking with emerging research in women’s health, prenatal nutrition, and diabetes care
- Manage a full and consistent patient caseload, ensuring timely follow-ups, continuity of care, and optimal patient outcomes
Requirements
- Experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling
- Licensed (or eligible for licensure) in Pennsylvania
- Passionate about delivering personalized, root-cause care to support long-term health outcomes
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care
- Experience or strong interest in prenatal nutrition, GDM, or hormone-related conditions
- Credential with CDRA
- Credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies
- Willingness to support women through pregnancy, gestational diabetes (GDM), and hormone-related conditions using an integrative and functional nutrition approach
Skills
- Experience in functional and integrative nutrition
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in telehealth platforms and software

Pay
- 32 hours/week (4-day work week): $44,000–$59,000 annually
- 40 hours/week (5-day work week): $55,000–$70,000 annually
Schedule
- Choose between a 4-day (32-hour) or 5-day (40-hour) work week, with flexibility to design a schedule that fits both your preferences and your patients’ needs

Final schedule and compensation are aligned based on candidate preference, experience, and availability
What We Are Looking For
- Mission-driven dietitians (RD/RDN)
- Passionate about women’s health, pregnancy, and gestational diabetes (GDM)
- Take an integrative and functional nutrition approach to care
- Thriving in a collaborative, growth-minded environment
- Have at least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care
- Experience or strong interest in prenatal nutrition, GDM, or hormone-related conditions
- Hold current registration with CDRA
- Credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies
- Willing to spend more time with patients and less time running a business
Preferred Availability
- Evening appointments strongly preferred to meet patient demand, with flexibility based on individual scheduling needs
- CDCES (Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist) strongly preferred
- IFNA Certified (IFNCP credential a plus); candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome
