Teacher Assistant - Floater (Full Time) Newton Child Development Center About The Job We are looking for a full-time Teacher Assistant to join our team as a floater. A floater does not stay in one classroom. Instead, you will move between our classrooms to help where you are needed most. One day you may help with infants, and the next day you may help with toddlers or PreK. If you like variety and enjoy working with kids of all ages, this job is a great fit. What You Will Do Help teachers care for and supervise childrenFill in when a classroom needs extra help or a staff member is outHelp with meals, snacks, naps, and clean-upJoin in play, reading, and learning activitiesKeep children safe at all timesFollow classroom routines and Center policiesTreat every child and family with kindness and respect What We Are Looking For You do not need classroom experience. Requirements High school diploma or GEDMust pass a fingerprint background check Pay And Benefits Pay starts at $13 with high school and little experience; higher with additional education and experience. Full time employees receive paid vacation and sick leave, as well as paid holidays.
