Duties And Responsibilities

  • Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results
  • Leads and develops store personnel
  • Develops and implements action plans to improve operating results
  • Oversees the resolution of employee and customer concerns
  • Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager
  • Manages personnel, including recommending advancement and termination
  • Collaborates in the resolution of issues within the store
  • Leads, develops, and supervises the team to achieve sales, engagement, and customer satisfaction
  • Ensures compliance with company strategy and core values
  • Fosters a positive and collaborative working environment
  • Manages compliance with policies and procedures within the store
  • Trains and develops store personnel to achieve their maximum potential
  • Observes and evaluates employees' work performance
  • Ensures store personnel comply with customer services guidelines
  • Resolves concerns independently or escalates to the district manager
  • Models and supervises compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Ensures a safe working environment
  • Prepares, manages, and revises weekly schedules
  • Ensures store personnel adhere to expense guidelines, inventory procedures, product handling, and cash handling policies
  • Ensures store personnel maintain store zone and merchandising standards
  • Implements personnel and operational plans to achieve store KPI goals and budgets
  • Attends and participates in meetings and conducts meetings

Job Qualifications

  • At least 18 years old
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience

Education And Experience

Full-time Store Manager Trainees will train at multiple locations and must have flexibility to travel within divisional requirements.
