Full Time Store Lead

Role Overview: Lead daily department operations in a retail store, ensuring staff training, staffing levels, and adherence to company standards to meet performance goals. Key Responsibilities Manage inventory, including ordering, markdowns, and product freshness, while minimizing loss.Validate received orders for quality and accuracy, ensuring proper storage.Supervise a team in stocking, production, and quality control, ensuring product rotation and handling damaged items appropriately.Maintain product knowledge and stay informed on store promotions and special deals.Communicate and execute the weekly Flight Plan, manage schedules, labor, and payroll in support of department goals.Support staffing, training, performance management, and development initiatives.Participate in meetings and maintain a clean, organized, and safe department environment.Ensure compliance with food safety, safety, and cleanliness standards, taking corrective actions as needed.Perform daily cycle counts, monitor date checks, and follow safety and guest experience guidelines.Assist with tasks in other departments as needed and undertake additional responsibilities. Qualifications & Skills High School diploma or GED required.0-2 years retail experience preferred.Strong communication, organization, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.Leadership ability and hands-on management skills.Knowledge of retail operations and management systems; suggestive selling skills preferred.Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; Spanish language skills are a plus. Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently, up to 50 pounds occasionally; stand and walk for extended periods; work in varied temperatures and environment conditions.
