Full-Time Store Associate (New Store)

Responsibilities

• Merges and stocks product
• Cashiering duties
• Cleaning tasks
• Enhancing customer shopping experience
• Collaborating with the ALDI team
• Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements

• Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
• Models and fulfills all customer service principles
• Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products
• Uses the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases
• Adheres to cash policies and procedures
• Fulfills line policy and opens additional check lanes
• Stocks shelves and displays neatly
• Completes curbside pickup orders
• Maintains zone and merchandising standards
• Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals
• Assists store management in achieving total loss goals
• Complies with all established company policies and processes
• Safely works in a variety of conditions

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate all store equipment
• Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic
• Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and with others
• Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks
• Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
• Ability to meet availability requirements

Pay

• Starting wage: $20.50 per hour
• Wage increases: Year 2 - $21.00 | Year 3 - $21.50 | Year 4 - $21.50| Year 5 - $22.50

Schedule

• Average hours: 30+ hours per week
