Responsibilities
- Merges and stocks product
- Cashiering duties
- Cleaning tasks
- Enhancing customer shopping experience
- Collaborating with the ALDI team
- Providing exceptional customer service
Requirements
- Able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Models and fulfills all customer service principles
- Informs store management of loss due to outdated or damaged products
- Uses the point-of-sale (POS) system to accurately scan and process customer purchases
- Adheres to cash policies and procedures
- Fulfills line policy and opens additional check lanes
- Stocks shelves and displays neatly
- Completes curbside pickup orders
- Maintains zone and merchandising standards
- Assists store management in achieving operational efficiency goals
- Assists store management in achieving total loss goals
- Complies with all established company policies and processes
- Safely works in a variety of conditions
Qualifications
- Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
- Ability to operate all store equipment
- Ability to interpret and apply ALDI operating policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and with others
- Ability to organize, prioritize and complete assigned tasks
- Ability to maintain reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to meet availability requirements
Pay
- Starting wage: $20.50 per hour
- Wage increases: Year 2 - $21.00 | Year 3 - $21.50 | Year 4 - $21.50| Year 5 - $22.50
Schedule
- Average hours: 30+ hours per week
