Responsibilities

• Seat guests and take accurate food orders
• Monitor food distribution to ensure correct delivery, proper preparation, and appealing presentation (including buffet areas)
• Check station before, during, and after shift for proper set‑up and cleanliness
• Abide by all state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations regarding service to minors and intoxicated guests
• Maintain familiarity with all menu items, their preparation, and service procedures
• Total checks, present bills to guests, and accept payment
• Assist with bussing tables
• Perform various other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

• Minimum of high school education; post‑high‑school education preferred
• At least one (1) year of experience in a hotel or restaurant serving role

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Team player

• Effective verbal communication
• Ability to exceed expectations of guests and team members
• Proficiency with equipment such as cash registers and calculators
• Basic mathematical skills for making change and processing refunds

Pay

Compensation Range: $6.50 per hour
