Full-Time Senior Supply Chain Engineer

Role Overview This position involves performing detailed technical assessments of supplier components, collaborating with design and procurement teams to ensure components meet quality and performance standards, and supporting the New Product Introduction process to validate components before launch. The role includes managing non-conforming components, conducting failure analysis, and contributing to supply chain and product quality improvements. Key Responsibilities Assess and qualify supplier components, including material, electrical, and mechanical properties.Engage with suppliers to align on technical specifications, conduct audits, and support supplier development.Participate in design reviews, pilot production, and validation to ensure readiness for product launch.Perform root cause analysis on component failures, monitor quality metrics, and manage non-conforming parts.Collaborate cross-functionally with design, quality, operations, and procurement teams to optimize processes and resolve issues.Manage planning, execution of tasks, and continuous process improvements.Mentor junior team members and support talent development initiatives. Qualifications & Skills 8-10+ years of experience in supplier quality, product engineering, or related fields.Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer, Industrial Engineering, or similar.Strong technical assessment, failure analysis, and supplier engagement skills.Effective problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration abilities.Commitment to continuous learning and process improvement.
