Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe's, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Aid customers in locating and handling merchandise.
• Stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe, cut and bundle wood, cut drywall, cut blinds).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: 6 Months Experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information6 Months Experience using common retail technology, such as smart phones and tabletsReading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform job duties
• Preferred Qualifications: 6 months of Retail and/or customer service experienceBi-lingual skillsCertification in trade related to department (e.g., hardware, kitchen, plumbing, electrical, lawn and garden, and lumber/building materials)

Pay

Pay Range: $15.00 - $15.70 per hour Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. Schedule

This role does not require regular travel; however, this role may need to travel occasionally to meetings, training, or to support neighboring stores.
