Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and showcase detailed product knowledge
  • Offer personalized and thoughtful styling recommendations
  • Strategize personal business growth to boost individual productivity
  • Support team in achieving monthly, quarterly, and annual sales plans
  • Collaborate with the team to uphold standards of excellence across all touchpoints
  • Develop genuine connections with customers while advising on product recommendations
  • Utilize tools like Polo connect to capture meaningful customer data
  • Participate in store and company initiatives and community outreach
  • Balance tasks while prioritizing the Ralph Lauren experience
  • Maintain store visual standards and use visual techniques and company guidelines
  • Engage in networking and sourcing talent to support top talent in the store

Requirements

  • Sales experience in a complex, high-volume or high-profile specialty environment preferred
  • Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel
  • Ability to maneuver around the sales floor, stock/dressing room, cashwrap and office
  • Ability to lift/climb up to 30 lbs. and climb moderately
  • Ability to operate the register, stand, move and walk for multiple hours
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, and weekends
  • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workers
  • Experience selling to customers using digital tools preferred
