Full-Time RN MDS Coordinator

About the Role

The RN MDS/Reimbursement Coordinator manages MDS coordination, Medicare reimbursement, and compliance with policies and regulations. They facilitate QAPI initiatives, track nursing analytics, and assist clinically as needed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MDS assessments and Medicare reimbursement processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Facilitate quality improvement initiatives (QAPI/QAA).
• Track and analyze nursing department data.
• Assist clinically when needed and support care planning.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active RN license.
• Certified as an MDS Coordinator by a recognized organization; RNAC preferred.
• Experience in long-term care, MDS assessments, and quality assurance programs.
