Full-Time RN MDS Coordinator

Role Overview: The RN MDS/Reimbursement Coordinator is responsible for managing MDS coordination, Medicare reimbursement, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. They facilitate QAPI initiatives, track nursing analytics, and assist clinically as needed. Qualifications & Skills Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an active RN license.Certified as an MDS Coordinator by a recognized organization; RNAC preferred.Experience in long-term care, MDS assessments, and quality assurance programs.Strong data analysis, reporting, and organizational skills.Excellent communication, patience, compassion, and work ethic.Ability to develop comprehensive care plans and understand legal frameworks. Key Responsibilities Coordinate MDS assessments and Medicare reimbursement processes.Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.Facilitate quality improvement initiatives (QAPI/QAA).Track and analyze nursing department data.Assist clinically when needed and support care planning.
