Full Time Retail Supervisor
About the role
The Retail Supervisor is responsible for achieving and maintaining all client and customer standards by overseeing and directing activities of associates within assigned territories. The ideal candidate works closely with Business Development Managers, Brands, Retail Managers, and other retail personnel to ensure business objectives are met.
Responsibilities
The Retail Supervisor will manage and direct retail associates, conduct store audits, execute and complete all retail projects, and maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics. Other key responsibilities include establishing and maintaining client relationships, monitoring and regulating expenses, and communicating effectively with direct reports.
- Business Development: achieve in-store retail excellence goals by building goodwill with the trade and clients, and completing all retail projects
- Client Audits: manage and direct retail personnel, conduct store audits, and execute retail projects to achieve client goals and objectives
- Sales and Merchandising: maintain client objectives by ensuring products are fully stocked, correctly signed, properly faced, and set to schematics
- Budget and Expense Control: control expenses to come in under budget
- Administration/Reporting: complete accurate and timely paperwork and reports
Qualifications
The ideal candidate has an Associate's Degree and 4 years of applicable retail experience, including 2 years in a supervisory role. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and Microsoft Office proficiency are also required.
