Full Time Registered Nurse - Highland Park Senior Care Home Health - Longview/Marshall, TX

About the Role

The Home Health Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care to patients in their homes. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating nursing care. The RN will educate patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and develop care plans
• Implement and evaluate nursing care
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor and document patient progress
• Provide education to patients and their families on proper healthcare practices and disease prevention
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
• Adhere to all nursing standards and procedures

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience
• Experience in home health or hospice care preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
