Full-Time Registered Nurse

About the role

Provide direct nursing care within the Women's Special Care department, primarily during night shifts, with responsibilities extending across Neonate, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients. Serve as a clinical leader, mentor new staff, and assume relief charge duties to ensure quality patient care and a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, individualized patient care, including medication administration, testing, and procedures.
• Implement and document care plans collaboratively with the healthcare team, considering age-specific needs and discharge planning.
• Assist with emergency measures and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.
• Participate in orientation, precepting, and ongoing professional development.
• Ensure accurate medical records and effective communication, including triaging calls.
• Promote patient safety by following policies, reporting hazards, and encouraging patient participation in care.

Qualifications & Skills

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program; RN licensure in NM or reciprocal agreement.
• CPR/BLS certification required within 30 days.
• No minimum experience required; bilingual skills (English/Spanish) preferred.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and work in environments with biohazards and chemicals.
